Ms. Rivero received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from New York University. She double majored in Psychology and Politics and was a recipient of the University’s Founder’s Day Award for consistent academic excellence.
Ms. Rivero received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Kathleen Mulligan of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (U.S. EEOC) and was a summer associate at a large, trans-national firm. She received top oral advocacy honors at the 14th Annual Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Moot Court Competition, where her team finished second overall. She also competed in the Pacific Super Regional of the multinational Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition; her team placed in the quarterfinals.
After graduation, Ms. Rivero was awarded a public interest stipend to work at Inner City Law Center where she assisted in eviction defense and other housing matters.
In her spare time, Ms. Rivero enjoys crafting, comic book film adaptations, electronic dance music, and science fiction television shows. Her favorite Doctor is Ten.
